The Charity
Three Parks Challenge is organised by StreetInvest, an international NGO supporting street children around the world.
About the Event
The Three Parks Challenge provides the ideal opportunity for you, your family and friends to enjoy the majesty of Bushy, Hampton Court and Richmond Parks and savour spectacular stretches of the Thames riverside. You will be cared for throughout and be fed and watered upon completion … all the while making a huge difference to street children around the world who every day face the biggest challenges with the least support.
The walk starts at Teddington Cricket Club in Bushy Park (between 10 and 11 a.m.) and will finish with an all-afternoon barbeque.
You can choose 8 or 16-mile options and will be provided with a map and detailed directions. 8 miles will take 3-3.5 hours, 16 will take 6-7 hours.
An individual entrance fee of £20 (£35 couples and £45 families) covers the costs of the event, so we encourage you to seek your additional sponsorship from friends and family who are not able to join you on this walk. Follow this link to set up your JustGiving page, allowing you most easily to reach out to your contacts.
Together, we can keep street children safe and provide them access to the basic services of food, water, shelter and healthcare they immediately need, particularly during the continuing Covid crisis. Most importantly, we can ensure that they know there are trustworthy people there for them, whenever they need, so that they can develop and grow to their full potential.
Thank you for joining the trustworthy adults who are there for these children.
